What clients can expect from my coaching

Recently, I added a few more new clients to my practice list. And, in the course of onboarding them I couldn’t help but to pay attention to my word choice in the process. My observations and take always from those exchangesI thought might be of interest to others, both potential client and would-be coach alike. So, as is my practice, I had those thoughts rolling around in my mind for a few days before I came to the conclusion that I should do something constructive with them. Considering the fact that I hadn’t posted on this site in a while, I selected this site as the fitting repository of those musings, and here I am in the early hours of a brand new work week following a holiday emptying my mind of

its cargo in hopes that someone, somewhere might have a “lightbulb come on experience” and take decisive action appropriately. The statement I made and the point drawn or as follows: I told my clients confidently that my approach to coaching will definitely get them to goal attainment. And, I added that with my coaching reaching your goal is a certainty but it is a bi-product of a much deeper, much more powerful a process. With my coaching the most important outcome will the transformation that take place on the inside. Further, I explained it this way: my stroke recovery rehab process yielded many things. I was able to have and to enjoy returning to a sense of normalcy, functioning successful independently without the help of a caregiver or as an inpatient in an institution. I was able to enjoy being mobile and operating on my own strength, navigating my home and being able to interact with my family. The list of the benefits and outcomes is at least as long as I am tall (6’3”). But the thing I consider to be the “prize” take away in the change that I experience deep within. And, that list is much longer than I am tall and it continues to grow the more I choose to conduct self examinations about the experience. I’ve actually discovered a solid correlation in hindsight. The correlation is that the internal growth & development is actually the ever burning fire and catalyst for all, not just some or a few but all of the external changes that I have been able to see & experience. Author, Karen Neverland, said it best in her book, As within so without as she describes it this way…

…Our external world is a reflection of our internal world. We interpret and project a world on the outside that we believe on the inside. For many of us, this means a world of suffering and hardship. As Within, So Without: Love Yourself, Love the World is a philosophy that explains how loving ourselves transforms the world. This book draws from spirituality, science, religion, and psychology to form a simple theory on how we can delve in and heal ourselves. When we experience unconditional Love within, we experience it without. When we truly love ourselves, we truly love the world.

Karen Neverland author of As Within So Without

If “as within so without” sounds vaguely familiar, it’s probably because of it’s likeness to the Hermetic Principle “As above so below.” So, I told my client and I’ve made it a practice to empower my clients with that understanding. I do that chiefly through infusing aspects of self-love into all of the coaching I provide. That way my clients have a blue print as well as actual tools to use to tip the scales in their favor in their goal pursuit processes with me but also in life in general long after their coaching sessions have ended. In-other-words, I supervise my clients’ success during the coaching sessions and I empower for many, many successes after my coach. My Coach frames what successful living looks like and puts a large ball in motion for them to consistently replicate the process in every area of their lives. I empower my clients with a powerful thought: you cannot impart what you do not possess. So the coaching Journal on which I take my clients is one that gets them hungry to acquire the tools and the experiences they need to succeed and to become juggernauts of success as it relates to the goal development, goal pursuit, goal attainment process. Yup! That’s what my coaching does for my clients. Thankfully there are hundreds of clients and employees that can testify to the effectiveness of my coaching and at present there are even 21 5-star reviews that speak to this as well.
